Coronavirus update

A few weeks ago the National Security Council decided to let trade shows go ahead again after the 1st of September. This is because they are not seen as mass events, where large numbers of people crowd together, but as "'businesses and associations offering consumer goods or services", much like shopping centres, large commercial outlets and markets. Trade fairs can also be fully controlled, by imposing compulsory registration, timeslots, one-way systems, and so on.

For that reason, the organisers are happy to confirm once again that SIGN2COM can be made fully Covid-secure and will take place as scheduled on 10, 11 & 12 October 2021!

Business
After months of video conferencing, remote chatting, emailing and other technologies, the need for personal contact between customers and suppliers is greater than ever. So too in the visual communication and signage industry, where purchase managers, advisers and users in the advertising, signage, media and communication industries are still looking for innovative ideas, solutions and products for their projects. The best method, as ever, is to let customers see for themselves, through personal contact. This is why trade shows like SIGN2COM are a vital link in the process.

Safety
A little wariness is perfectly understandable, now that the trade shows are opening again for the first time. At SIGN2COM the organisers have everything in place to ensure an entirely safe event (see list alongside). They will be following the trade protocol. Visitors are checked in and counted to guarantee safety at all times. A clear strategy has been developed, involving more exhibition floor space, an enhanced cleaning and disinfection regimen, a signposted one-way system, face coverings provided, separate entrances and exits, ventilation, …

In any event, the organisers look forward to welcoming all exhibitors and visitors on 10, 11 & 12 October 2021 at Kortrijk Xpo!
